Chili-tomato pasta with Koskenkorva Vodka

In Finland, we eat a lot of pasta. Now you know the reason!
Ingredients for 4 people (1 person)
  • 4 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 130 g Tomato puree
  • 3 Tbsp Koskenkorva Vodka
  • 2 dl double cream
  • 400 g Pasta
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Basil
  • Salt and pepper
Sweat onions with oil and add chilli flakes. Add tomato puree and let the sauce caramelize. Add Koskenkorva Vodka and bring the sauce to a boil. Add the cream.
Mix sauce and pasta. Add some pepper and salt and serve with parmesan and basil.
